Rick Justus, BCBA, LBA
Rick began his career providing direct support to individuals with autism in community and home settings. He received his Master’s Degree in Special Education from the University of Utah, teaching Special Education in the Salt Lake area. For over twenty years, he has specialized in developing functional assessments, providing parent and professional training, and implementing person-centered learning and behavior improvement strategies for individuals considered disabled and autistic. He has various specializations in Applied Behavior Analysis, Positive Behavior Supports, Intensive Behavior Intervention, Relationship Development, Pivotal Response Training and non-verbal/visual communication strategies.
Suzanne R., BCBA-D, LBA
Suzanne entered the field as a behavior therapist, providing ABA treatment to children with autism. Following the completion of her undergraduate degree in psychology, she took a position as an elementary special education teacher. During this time Suzanne completed a Master's degree in special education. With a desire to advance her knowledge and effectiveness in serving children and families, Suzanne completed a doctoral program at UC Santa Barbara,training in the Koegel Autism Center. Following graduation in 2007, Suzanne served as an Assistant/Associate Professor in the Department of Special Education at Cal State University in Fullerton and earned her BCBA-D in 2009. Her relocation to Spokane created a unique opportunity for her to return to supporting children and families.
Tana W., BCBA, LBA
Tana began working with children in 1999 when she earned her teaching certification through Gonzaga University. After instructing learners of all ages in Spokane area schools, she returned to Gonzaga to study for her Masters degree in Special Education, which she received in 2014 via their Functional Analysis track. She has been a BCBA since 2016 and is committed to developing individualized, effective, evidenced-based treatment plans that focus on the strengths and needs of each child. She has experience in implementing early intervention and functional communication programs and is devoted to providing reinforcement based strategies to children and their families. She is committed to supporting each individual’s attainment of a more independent and dignified quality of life.
Dana M., LBA, BCBA
Dana began working with children during her undergraduate program at Arizona State University (ASU), serving as a reading and math tutor for elementary school children. She was introduced to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) during her student teaching and continued her studies in the field. Dana then began her Master’s degree in education with a focus on ABA. She worked as a Behavior Technician at Imagine Behavioral and Developmental Services and eventually earned credentialing as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Dana is passionate about providing the best of care for clients and families, utilizing research driven methods to increase quality of life. Dana is excited to continue helping individuals enhance and refine their skills and abilities in order to help them pursue a more independent life.
Annie D., BCBA, LBA
Annie earned a bachelor of science in Psychology and Human Communication followed by a master’s degree in Education, specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis and Curriculum and Instruction. Over the last 7 years, she has worked in the field of ABA in both Idaho and Washington as an interventionist, Registered Behavior Technician, and most recently a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. In 2019, Annie visited a school for Autism in Havana, Cuba, leading to an interest in examining how different cultures approach autism treatment.
Danielle Y., BCBA, LBA
Danielle earned a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science and a certificate in Special Education followed by a master’s degree in Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis and Special Education. Over the course of her career, she has served as a case manager for individuals exhibiting severe problem behaviors, a Registered Behavior Technician providing early intervention services in clinic and home settings as well as an ABA instructor in a public school. Danielle has a passion for improving the lives of others and is dedicated to continuously setting a high standard for therapy.
