Danette Darrow, BCBA, LBA
Danette first started working with children with disabilities in 2007, providing 1:1 behavior support for children with autism in a school setting. In 2008 she began her graduate program at Gonzaga University and graduated in 2011 with a Masters in Initial Teaching in Special Education with a focus in Functional Analysis. After graduation she started working as a Behavior Technician for Imagine. At the beginning of 2012 she became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and transitioned into a Behavior Specialist position. Over the years she has gained knowledge and experience working not only with individuals with autism but also with other developmental disorders including Angelman syndrome, Smith-Magenis syndrome, and Down syndrome. She was instrumental in the development, opening and management of the Mountlake Terrace Center. She has a range of experience providing home, school, and center based services and has worked with clients ranging in age from 2-30 years old. Danette is skilled in consultation, training and behavior analytic services including conducting functional assessments, developing positive behavior support plans, and early intervention comprehensive programming. She has served as a mentor and supervisor to many of our new and upcoming BCBAs. She is devoted to helping individuals with disabilities and their families improve their quality of life.
Michelle W., BCBA, LBA
Michelle graduated from Tufts University in 2013 with a Master’s Degree in Child Development with a concentration in Special Needs. While there, she developed a passion for early intervention services. This led her to working at Imagine as a Behavior Technician that same year. After pursuing additional coursework, Michelle became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2016. Since then, she has focused on developing individualized, research-based treatment plans that focus on the strengths and needs of each child. Michelle is dedicated to providing quality services to improve the lives of the children and families that she works with.
Andrea H., BCBA, LBA
Andrea first started working with children with disabilities in 2008, volunteering as a camp counselor. She also volunteered in 2009 in a classroom setting, working with kids on the autism spectrum and with Down syndrome. Since 2014 she has gained experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis, working as a Behavior Technician at Imagine Behavioral and Developmental Services. In 2016 she graduated from Florida Institute of Technology with her masters in Professional Behavior Analysis and subsequently received her certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Over the years she has gained knowledge and experience in direct instruction teaching methods, positive behavioral interventions, and functional analysis. She has worked with individuals in both home and center based settings. She has experience with managing challenging behaviors, early intervention programming, and implementing functional communication programs. Andrea is committed to helping all individuals reach their highest potential. She also has a strong desire to provide support and training to families as whole, in order to achieve the best outcome for the families she serves.
Kyla C., BCBA, LBA
Kyla discovered Applied Behavior Analysis as an undergraduate student at the University of California Santa Barbara where she took an introduction course on autism and volunteered in inclusion summer camps and social skill groups. Inspired by the possibilities of ABA and the positive relationships she made with the children and teens she met, Kyla attended the University of Washington’s Applied Behavior Analysis program in 2016. During her Masters program, Kyla gained ABA experience as a paraprofessional in an inclusion classroom. Shortly after, Kyla began working as a Behavior Technician at Imagine. She became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in November 2017. Kyla seeks to make ABA a positive and beneficial experience for all individuals and families she works with.
Tracy C., BCBA, LBA
Tracy first started working with individuals with disabilities in 2012 as part of a pilot research project at the Koegel Autism Center. Following this experience, she became a behavior technician supporting individuals in the development of social, daily living, and communication skills across a variety of settings including homes, clinics, and schools. She also had the opportunity to help support individuals experiencing challenging behavior. Tracy graduated from the University of Washington, where she worked on Project DATA (Developmentally Appropriate Treatment for Autism), a school-based intervention program, and became a BCBA in 2017. She has received training in functional communication training, pivotal response treatment, and functional analyses. She values working as a team alongside families and other providers to increase independence and quality of life for individuals and their families.
Taylor C., BCBA, LBA
Taylor received her bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Western Washington University in 2015. She continued on to receive her master's in Special Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavioral Analysis from the University of Washington. Taylor has had a wide range of experience with early childhood through adult services. She is excited to expand her skills and make a positive impact through partnering with people with ASD and their families.
